How semi-private is different from group fitness
In a group class, everybody does the same workout regardless of goal or experience. In semi-private, every athlete follows their own written program, a coach walks between you, cues technique, adjusts loads, and tracks your numbers session to session. It's the middle path between anonymous class and full 1-on-1.
Who semi-private is right for
- People who want personal-trainer results at a lower price.
- Couples or friends who want to train together (very popular for Southside and Portland couples).
- Busy Corpus Christi professionals with tight calendars.
- Anyone bored of following the class script.
- HYROX and race-prep athletes who need program specificity.
What semi-private costs at AE Fitness
Semi-private sessions run roughly 40, 50% less per session than private 1-on-1 training, while still delivering a written program and hands-on coaching. Most Corpus Christi semi-private clients invest $35, 55 per session depending on package length and frequency.

What a semi-private session actually looks like
- Warm-up on your own program (5, 8 min).
- Main lift, coach cues technique and loads.
- Accessory circuit, 2, 3 movements built for your weak points.
- Conditioning or finisher, sometimes shared, sometimes not.
- Notes logged, program reviewed, next session scheduled.
Who else is in the room
Semi-private at AE Fitness caps at 4 athletes per coach. You'll often train alongside Corpus Christi teachers, first responders, small business owners, moms coming back from postpartum, and high school athletes from Carroll, Ray, King, or Moody. Different goals, same coach, that's the point.
Put this into practice with a real coach.
